RESTART A HEART DAY

On Monday 16th October 2017, all Year 7 students will be participating in the ‘European Restart a Heart Day’ activities, promoted and supported by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service. The aim of the day is to enable young people to recognise the signs of Cardiac Arrest, and equip them with basic life support skills. The activities will take place between 08.30am and 12.30pm for Year 7 students.

More than 25,000 young people across almost 140 secondary schools in Yorkshire will be taking part in the activities, which will see chances of survival from cardiac arrest double. For further information, please follow this link: http://www.restartaheart.yas.nhs.uk/day/
