Extra Curricular

Aims

At Ash Hill Academy we strive to provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities, through our Enrichment Program, that students in all years can attend after formal lessons end at 2.30pm.

We encourage all students to take part in Enrichment activities, as it helps them build relationships with their peers and staff in a relaxed setting, whilst also developing specific skills in their areas of interest.

The activities that are provided are based on what the students tell us they want to take part in - Student Voice is a very important part of the Academy, and where possible we aim to provide the students with the activities they wish to attend.

These include creative clubs and curriculum catch-up sessions, for a wide variety of educational and fun activities.

Approach

This year we will provide:

  • Curriculum sessions - subject-based, offered by departments, with set afternoons
  • Creative sessions - offered by staff from across the academy, including exciting new activities, for students to widen their horizons
