Free School Meals Update

Dear Parent or Carer,

FREE SCHOOL MEALS (FSM) 

Following the further announcements by the Department for Education, we are now in a position to update you again in relation to the academy free school meals provision over this lockdown period. 

As you are aware the Government FSM guidance has changed once again and Delta have reviewed and decided that all Delta Academies should move to the provision of FSM Vouchers via the Eden Red Scheme as soon as possible.

As with Food Parcels, vouchers will only be provided to FSM eligible families. Vouchers will be issued from 18th January until half term. Vouchers will not be issued for the school holidays. 

All vouchers will be issued electronically in order to comply with our Covid-19 Risk Assessment; in order to access the voucher, you will need to have a valid email address. This information will be collected from you via a Microsoft form, which you will find here . Please complete to confirm your email address. 

If you do not have an email address, the academy can support you in setting one up via Gmail.  In the interim period, if necessary, we will provide a food package which you may collect from the academy; this must be ordered in advance

We will support our pupils throughout, but please contact us if you need this information in any other language or format or if you have any questions or you or a member of your household is shielding or self-isolating and as a result are unable to collect. 

Whilst we are not trying to be obstructive, in order to comply with our academy risk assessment, unless there are exceptional or emergency circumstances, we are not able to deliver vouchers or care packages to individual households.
