Ash Hill End of Year Examinations

21st May 2020

Dear Parent / Carer,

End of Year Examinations

I hope this letter finds you and your family both safe and well during these unprecedented times.

Normally at this time of year, students would be preparing for their end of year examinations. Due to restrictions imposed on the academy by the government in response to Covid-19, the academy is closed and so our normal way of assessing the students cannot go ahead.

Instead, each student will receive a pack of assessment papers delivered to their homes very shortly. Students are required to complete the assessment papers ONLY for the subjects they study and return the completed papers to the academy.

The assessment papers must be returned to the academy no later than Monday 8 June 2020.

The academy reception will be open for receipt of the completed papers, which may be placed in the appropriate year box; social distancing will be adhered to. Alternatively, you may post them back to the academy

Further updates via text, letter and the academy website will continue to be provided as they become available. Please continue to ensure that your child is accessing the materials needed for their learning on our website and the Hegarty/ GCSEpod learning platforms.

Thank you for your continued support of the academy.

Yours faithfully

J Higgins

Principal
