Ash Hill students visit historic location to begin Ambition Programme

On Wednesday 9th October, 12 Year 8 Ash Hill Academy students attended the launch event for our unique Ambition Programme at the prestigious Cutlers Hall in Sheffield.

The visit included an inspirational speech from Colonel George Kilburn (Chief Executive, Cutlers Hall), as well as an insightful and educational presentation from an experienced past Master Cutler, Nicholas Cragg.
Students also had an exclusive tour of the hall, learning the history of the silver treasures as well as the famous hall itself.

The Ambition Programme is designed to raise aspirations, developing students' character and the fundamental skills that are required to be successful in school and beyond in the world of work.

A key feature of the programme is the collaboration of five Delta Academies (Ash Hill, Don Valley, Garforth, Rossington and The Laurel) to provide students with opportunities to meet new people and work effectively as part of a team in challenging and

exciting activities.
