Mental Health Day at Ash Hill Academy is huge success

Students and staff wore yellow today to raise awareness of mental health issues and, in the process, raised a significant amount of money for a fantastic charity.  Yellow t-shirts, hoodies, bows and even shoe laces were worn throughout the day to remind us about the importance of getting help with mental health problems.  Delicious buns and cakes were also for sale at break and lunchtime; they had sold out by the end of last lunch!

A fantastic fundraising effort, led by Mrs Swainston, resulted in £382.31 being raised for the Young Minds charity, which is involved in brilliant work supporting young people with mental health problems.
