Odd Socks Day marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week and students and staff at Ash Hill Academy got involved to celebrate what makes us all unique and spread kindness this year.

It was an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!

There was no pressure to wear the latest fashion or to buy expensive costumes.  All that students and staff had to do to take part is wear odd socks to school along with making an appropriate donation which is sent to important organisations such as the Anti-Bullying alliance who:

  • Help teachers and professionals working with children and young people to tackle bullying
  • Develop support for parents and carers on how to protect and support their children
  • Influence and improve national policy on bullying so that the UK is a world leader in preventing bullying

Well done to all students and staff who got involved. Take a look at the crazy sock combos by our students and staff today!
