Hot Weather Update

As you will be aware, the weather forecast for Monday 18thJuly and Tuesday 19thJuly 2022 is suggesting that there will be temperatures in excess of 35 degrees in Doncaster, with weather warnings of extreme heat being issued.

In these exceptional circumstances, we want to ensure that our students stay as comfortable and cool as possible and also eliminate risk of sunburn and heat exhaustion.

Therefore, we are relaxing our uniform policy for the two days and giving students the option of wearing either:

School uniform but without their blazer or tie

PE Kit (DELTA shorts and top)

We ask that your child brings an appropriate drinks bottle for water throughout the day, to ensure that they keep hydrated. We also recommend that they apply sunscreen.
