Exams Access Arrangements

If a pupil shows evidence of needing additional support in exams, they will need to undergo a series of standardised tests to show evidence of requiring this support.  All access arrangements are on an individual basis and are because of testing to establish need. We endeavour to identify in KS3 if pupils may need additional arrangements to support examinations, however they will not be officially tested until Year 10 via our external provider.

Please note that official diagnoses of conditions such as dyslexia, ASD and/or an EHCP do not automatically allow for additional support to be put in place. All pupils must go through the same process of evidence collecting and testing.
